We are excited to welcome you to Omaha Crush! The event is INDOORS. It will go on, rain or shine. Below is some helpful information to help with your Omaha Crush experience.
Omaha Crush will be on Saturday, July 20th from 5 pm to 10 pm.
Doors open at 5 pm. Event check-in and champagne reception from 5 pm- 6pm.
The wine tasting begins at 6 pm and ends at 9 pm. There will be multiple stations with wines, spirits, and food!
Local jazz/funk fusion artists Funk Trek will take the stage at 7:45 and play until 9:45.
Event ends at 10 pm – just in time for you and your friends to catch a late show at the Alamo Drafthouse!
200 South 31st Avenue, in the Empire Room at Midtown Crossing- www.empireroomomaha.com. The Empire Room is situated between Cantina Laredo and Thirst Tea Café. There is not a sign outdoors that says Empire Room, but the wrought-iron fence around the patio makes the venue easy to spot!
There are several parking garages in Midtown Crossing, we suggest using the one that is connected to the Element Hotel as it is closest to the venue. There are garage entrances off of Farnam and Dodge Streets.
Please come in casual, cool, summer attire (shorts, sundresses, etc.)….and wear your dancing shoes! Shirt and shoes are required- no exceptions.
Please present your ticket (printed or on mobile device) to the volunteers at the check-in table for entry. Please remember, Omaha Crush is a 21 and over event- please be sure to have your valid ID ready at check-in. Anyone under age 21 OR without a valid ID will be refused entry to the event.
Want to skip the check-in line on Saturday? Come to Empire Room for the “Indulge” event series on Friday, July 19th between 6 pm and 10 pm. Bring your ticket and pick up your wrist band for Saturday while you enjoy a complimentary champagne tasting and dessert bites (while supplies last) at the Empire Room!
You may come and go from the Empire Room until the Omaha Crush ends at 10 pm- we encourage you to visit the great restaurants and retailers in Midtown Crossing! Your wrist band and valid ID will be required for re-entry. If you lose your wrist band, you’ll need to show us your ID and original ticket on a mobile device for a replacement wrist band.
What does my ticket include?:
Your ticket to Omaha Crush includes all wine tastings, hors d’oeuvres, a commemorative tasting glass, art show, and live musical entertainment. The full bar at the Empire Room will be open if you wish to purchase additional bar drinks with cash or credit card (additional drinks not included for ticket price).
All of the wines at Omaha Crush will be available for purchase below retail prices, and we’ll offer quantity discounts. It is not possible for the vendors to bring all of their product onsite at Omaha Crush- guests will order wine at the event and then return to Empire Room to pick up the product on a date immediately following the event (date to be determined).
Your safety is our #1 concern –PLEASE ensure you have a safe ride home at the conclusion of the event. We have a designated driver ticket available for $15, which includes hors d’oeuvres and unlimited soft drinks. Or, the Element Hotel is right next door- get a hotel room so you don’t have to drive!
The laws governing alcohol sales limit tasting events to three hours in duration and to one taste of each product, per person. We ask that you please limit tastings, accordingly.
Any guest who is visibly intoxicated and/or deemed disruptive by security officials will be refused tastings or bar service and may asked to leave the event. If you are removed from the event by Empire Room security staff for disruptive behavior, no refund will be issued for your ticket.
Weapons, controlled or illegal substances, or outside food and beverage (including alcohol) will not be allowed in the Empire Room. Guests found in possession of any of these items may be asked to leave.
No person under the age of 21 will be granted entry to the event. No exceptions, sorry.
In the event of severe weather or other unforeseen circumstances, we will communicate all delays, postponements, or cancellations on our Facebook page and via email. While we do not anticipate a need for this, a full refund of your ticket will only be issued if the event organizers cancel the event.
